Melissa Chambers hails from the Queen City of Cincinnati, Oh and has been residing in Atlanta, Ga since 2002. Melissa attended Clark Atlanta University but then transferred to The Ohio State University where she received both academic and athletic scholarships. She is an alumnus of The Ohio State University where she earned her BA in Communications with a minor in Marketing & Theater.
Melissa possesses over 15+ years of experience in radio and film. She has been a producer and on-air personality for companies such as Blue-Chip Broadcasting and Clear Channel. Melissa is no stranger to breaking glass ceilings as she has instructed at the college level at the Ohio Center of Broadcasting as the first minority female instructor where she has trained some of radio’s top current personalities as well as the first minority female producer at Clear Channel in Cincinnati. Melissa has also produced and held principle and supporting roles in several major and independent films.
Melissa has a heart for giving back which she has done through mentoring to young girls and providing resources to the homeless and using her various titles, network and platforms to create social change. Melissa has trail-blazed Postponing Sexual Involvement programs successfully in both Cincinnati & Atlanta Public Schools. Through her community faith-based initiative Royally Yours, which is set to launch this year she is committed to bringing awareness and change through providing sex education, mentorship, image and skill development all while fostering and cultivating the talents and interest of young girls.
